New Reentry Resource Guides

New Reentry Resource Guides

Reentry is one of the largest challenges facing society and an inmate upon release. Reintegrating into society after a decade or even a year is difficult. To aid in the transition, ODRC has published a M.U.S.C.L.E (Make Use of Services Can Lead to Empowerment) guide for every county in Ohio. While very helpful, two organizations expanded the basic information and published their own reentry resource guide specifically for their own county. Both guides are excellent and worth looking at even if you don’t live in those counties. They contain useful information or may spawn ideas of where to look in your county.

Check out our Country Reentry Guides page for the ODRC M.U.S.C.L.E guides, the 49-9 Project’s resource for Lorain County and the “Coming Home: A Road Map for Successful Reentry” published for Summit County by the Summit County Reentry Network. The latter are outstanding reentry resource guides for their respective areas.  It would be great if such an extensive list existed for every county!

If you have reentry guides for other counties,  please send them to me!
